José David Valiente (1986) is a visual artist based in Murcia, Spain. He studied Audiovisual Image and then continued with Artistic Photography at Murcia School of Arts. His work has been exhibited in Thessaloniki, Krakow, Miami and Murcia and has been featured in various online and print publications including British Journal of Photography, Der Greif, It's Nice That, Humble Arts Foundation, Aint Bad, Fisheye Magazine and Metal Magazine among others.
He was selected in 2018 by British Journal of Photography as one of their annual "Ones To Watch".
José is powerfully drawn to decadence, marginals, bizarre, wild and mystery. His work is very personal. It reflects the environment around him and he makes use of its elements to portray himself.
